Acceptance allows the emotion to be experienced and thus to pass, rather than remain trapped in the body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 \u2013 BREATHE TO RELAX AND OXYGENATE YOUR BODY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First of all, DON\u2019T PANIC and<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>RELAX!<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>Yes, breathe (by relaxing your shoulders and expanding your belly). A good \"Aummmmmm\" is welcome to help you relax and release all your tension.<\/p>\n<p>Now, start scanning your body from head to toe and take care of each of your cells!<\/p>\n<p>Allow the parasympathetic nerve to do its job and calm your sympathetic nerve. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Your body is now relaxing, and it\u2019s possible that yawning will occur. This will relax your jaw, unblock your ears, regulate the pressure in your eardrums, stimulate your blood flow, and help send fresher blood to your brain. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 \u2013 DRINK WATER\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your vocal cords are mucous membranes that need to be well hydrated throughout the day to vibrate properly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>ENGAGE IN AN ACTIVITY THAT RELAXES YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose an activity that relaxes you, not one that excites you. An activity that helps you stay in the present moment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5 \u2013 BE IN CONGRUENCE WITH WHAT YOU\u2019RE SAYING<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>(<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>(words from the heart<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>come out more easily, are truthful, and oh, miraculously, the voice regains energy!)<\/p>\n<p>In case of emergency:<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>DARE to ask<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>for what will help you feel more comfortable with a tired voice (for example: \"I have a tired voice today, would it be possible to have three large glasses of water? or to reschedule my oral, meeting?\" You might be pleasantly surprised by the response ;)).
